Vesna is a professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics and participates in the work of SOG / Samardžić, Oreški & Grbović Law Firm as Of Counsel and Competition Economist on a project basis.
Vesna’s areas of expertise include statistics, mathematical methods & nonlinear analysis, market research (especially market concentrations), antitrust and competition policy and non-life insurance.
She has published extensively in scientific journals on topics including theoretical and applied mathematics, market concentration in Serbia, market research and new product development strategies and the role of pension schemes in the development of pension insurance. Also, Vesna is the co-author of three textbooks on the curriculum at the Faculty of Economics in the areas of statistics, business communications and actuarial mathematics.
Vesna earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mathematics where she also attained her Master of Science with a focus on probability and statistics. Vesna was awarded her Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics on the topic of resampling methods, analysis and application in insurance property.
Vesna is fluent in English and Serbian.
