

Marija is a partner at SOG law firm.
Marija’s practice is mostly focused on employment and labour law, tax law, and corporate and M&A matters, with particular experience in advising foreign companies entering the Serbian market. With more than 16 years of experience, Marija advises international clients on complex matters pertaining to Serbia, providing legal solutions optimally in line with the intricacies of Serbian administrative proceedings and the client`s business rationale. As a tax and legal consultant, she has been closely involved in some of the first and largest mergers and acquisitions and privatization projects in Serbia.
Marija was a member of the team in charge of the Tax Administration Reform in Serbia funded by the European Agency for Reconstruction. Marija was also awarded the first prize for the best recommendations in the national campaign by a jury consisting of business representatives and experts, the goal of the campaign being to identify all administrative and legislative constraints that unnecessarily burden doing business in Serbia.
