Jovana is a Local Partner at SOG law firm.

Jovana’s practice encompasses a wide range of corporate and securities transactions as well as advisory matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She counsels clients on a variety of corporate and governance-related matters, including compliance and disclosure issues, shareholder rights plans, and other defense and takeover measures. Besides her expertise in corporate law, Jovana acquired notable experience in dealing with civil, commercial and other domestic and international disputes, as well as in the field of labor law, misdemeanor and criminal law.

Jovana spent several years as a teaching assistant in Contract Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Banja Luka. She also gave lectures in the Property Law at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, University of Banja Luka. Also, Jovana was engaged as the senior associate at the Faculty of Law, University for Business Studies in Banja Luka at the Department for Civil and Civil Procedural Law. During the same period, Jovana was a legal adviser in the field of contract law at the Ministry of Finance of the Republika Srpska.

Jovana is fluent in English, Bosnian and Serbian.
