SOG Advises PowerChina on the Largest Wind Farm Project Ever Built in Serbia
SOG Law Firm advised PowerChina Resources on envisaged acquiring a 51% share from CWP Europe in Vetrozelena doo, a project company developing the 297,6 MW Vetrozelena wind farm project located in Pančevo, autonomous province Vojvodina in the northern quarter of Serbia.
PowerChina Resources is going to become the majority owner through the recently signed share purchase agreement, while the remaining 49% share will be owned by CWP Europe.
The wind farm is going to have 48 wind generators. Upon completion of construction and reaching the targeted commercial operation date in 2025, the Vetrozelena wind farm will be the largest wind farm project in the country.
The SOG team led by Partner Radovan Grbović, Senior Associate Aleksa Bošnjović, and Junior Associate Jelisaveta Folić assisted the purchaser in course of the legal due diligence process and negotiation and drafting of the definitive share purchase agreement.
