Hystead Limited, a UK-based real estate investment company with a focus on the region of Southeast Europe, has successfully sold Delta City shopping mall (Belgrade, Serbia) to MPC Properties, a leading regional company in construction and real estate management.
With this acquisition, MPC Properties expanded its retail assets portfolio, which already incorporates UŠĆE Shopping Center, BEO Shopping Center, Mercator Center Beograd, and Immo Outlet Center, making them an absolute leader in terms of the size of retail network in the domestic market and beyond.
In this EUR 100+ million transaction, SOG undertook the legal due diligence of the target company and provided an analysis of the preferential transaction structure of the acquisition.
The SOG team of legal experts was headed by Partner Miloš Gledović and included Senior Associates Milan Novakov, Anđa Nikolić and Ivan Nikolić.
